This could get interesting...
Last year Abe Vigoda released a very well received album of disjointed lo-fi rock on PPM. This EP finds the band venturing into new territory with more structured songs and a darker sound, trading in the yelp for some actual singing. All this occurs without sacrificing the energy and urgency of their original sound. With this EP, Abe Vigoda show incredible versatility and an ability to write engaging songs, no matter what approach they take. The possibilities for the next record now seem endless.
