What happens when a duo of musicians go to a barn in rural New York to write and record some electronic rock?
PHANTOGRAM!
That's what happens!
Phantogram's debut full-length, Eyelid Movies, is electronic and lush, with catchy hooks carefully woven in; but unlike a lot of electronic influenced music, doesn't sacrifice warmth for cool beats. Slightly dark, and extremely sexy, the album has just enough pop sensibility to fit in with the indie kids, but carries a confident "I know something you don't" feel that makes them stand out in the crowd. Don't be surprised if you end up feeling seduced by them.
