epic was released late in 2010, and it seems to, just now, be sneaking up on people. It's easy for a record like this to get lost. It's a quiet record that on the surface might sound like a million others, but if you really spend some time with it, the power and timelessness of the 7 songs become apparent.
With little more than an acoustic guitar and 30 minutes, Van Etten shot a flare in the air for people searching and hoping for another great female singer/songwriter.
